Mayfield Women’s Club purpose is to bring together women in an organization to benefit others and themselves by promoting civic, cultural, educational and social welfare.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is the largest group of organized women in the world, with a membership of approximately 10 million.  We are a member of the Lake Erie District in the state of Ohio.

¨     Collecting cancelled postage stamps for Leper Colony and Eyeglasses for missions

¨     Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House and Campbell soup labels and other labels for local schools

¨     Snack bags for Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital

¨     Love Bags (toiletries) for Salvation Army

¨     Ink Jet Cartridges and VHS tapes for recycling

¨     Old Cell Phones for a local women’s shelter and Yoplait Lids for Breast Cancer

¨     Grocery coupons for Navy Base in Japan (sent coupons worth over $10,000 in ’08)

¨     Food for a local food pantry and Entertainment at local nursing homes and women’s shelters

¨     Volunteering in local schools and assistance at the Mayfield Historical Society

¨     Angel Tree Ministries and School Supplies for Foster Children

¨     Heifer International and UNICEF

¨     Playground of Possibilities and Relay for Life

 

 

Fund Raising Projects

¨     Bake Sales, cosmetic sales, coupon book sales

¨     Raffles and Potlucks

¨     Gift Cards, Candy and Nut Sales

¨     Treasure Table (selling gently used items and books)

 

 

Social Events

Sunday Brunch, Movie Night, International Dinners, Holiday Parties, Bunco, and trips to local areas and concerts.
